The SMLYSE’s steel receiver wears a satin matte hard-chrome finish — and hard chrome is no decorative plating. It’s an industrial-grade finish: a layer of chromium dramatically harder than the steel beneath it, prized for abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance and a slick, low-friction surface. It’s the kind of finish specified where toughness genuinely matters.
“Satin matte” means chrome without the mirror glare — a refined, even, silvery sheen that won’t flash in the sun, won’t spook game, and won’t show every mark.
