Born in the same Gardone Val Trompia valley that’s been turning out rifle barrels since muskets were fashionable, Sabatti has been a family concern for a staggering 350 years. Yes, three-and-a-half centuries of obsessive barrel-making. They still cold-hammer their own steel today, and quietly produce actions and barrels for a fair few “premium” brands who’d rather you didn’t know they’re not doing it all in-house. Cheeky, isn’t it?
